Dr. Baum provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults and older adults, with additional proficiency in conducting worker's compensation and other medically related assessments, forensic evaluations and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA, HIMS certified) evaluations.
Dr. Baum earned her B.S. in Psychology from Plymouth State College, an M.Ed. in Counselor Training from the University of Massachusetts at Boston, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. She went on to obtain a post-doctoral M.S. degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. Baum completed a pre-doctoral internship at the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, with placement at the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged.
Dr. Baum's extensive career includes roles as a neuropsychologist at Comprehensive MedPsych Systems (CMPS) in Sarasota, Florida and establishment of a private neuropsychology practice in Bennington, Vermont. While in Florida, she served as clinical director and later director of testing and neuropsychology with Refresh Mental Health. She is now back in New England and practicing in Maine.
Board certified with the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABN), Dr. Baum is an active member of organizations such as the American Psychological Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the Maine Psychological Association.
